Highland streaked tenrec

Possibly the weirdest creature I'll ever crochet, the tenrec is like the love child of a shrew and a porcupine, with the long snout and tiny eyes, and spines among the fuzzy coat. They can become quite tame and enjoy being tickled (they won't put up those prickles unless startled so it's not dangerous for the fingers )
