When researching rabbits, I totally fell in love with English lops.
From all rabbit breeds, they have by far the longest ears - the Guinness record holder had an ear span of 79 cm/over 31". The huge ears mean they have some special needs: their nails must be trimmed regularly, the floor/bedding must be kept very clean, and they need heated space in the winter to avoid frost bites.
Another rather unusual trait is their semi arched body shape, only a few other breeds belong to this type. Their body is a bit mandolin like, with the back arch starting only behind the straight shoulders (rather than form an even curve right from the neck).
